What is ‘The Ensemble’?

The Capital District Arts Initiative is excited to announce the launch of our theatrical training program and performance company, The Ensemble, where those who aspire to become a true triple threat go to train. We are offering weekly technique classes in vocal performance, acting, and dance that will culminate in multiple performance opportunities including a Cabaret in the Winter and a Full-Scale Musical Production in the Spring. This program is open to artists ages 10+.

In addition to weekly training, members of The Ensemble will have access to other special opportunities like workshops with casting directors and agents, audition technique seminars, masterclasses from working actors in the industry, and more.

With Corey John Snide, Lisa Franklin, and Francesco Carlo Archina at the helm, any aspiring actress/actor in The Ensemble is sure to graduate with the skills necessary to pursue their dreams and will enter the field marketable as a true Triple-Threat!

SCHEDULE OF CLASSES

The Ensemble weekly schedule will include 2 hours of vocal training & music theory with Lisa Franklin and 2.5 hours of acting with Francesco Carlo Archina. Included in your tuition, members of The Ensemble may register for one dance class of their choosing at the CDAI. Any additional dance classes you’d like to register for are offered at a 15% discounted rate! Winter Session: September 11th, 2023 - December 15th, 2023

Spring Session: January 2nd, 2024 - May 15th, 2024

TUITION

Commitment to The Ensemble theater program is a year long commitment. Once enrolled in the program, students and parents are obligated to pay tuition through the end of each semester. Tuition should be paid by either cash, check, or debit/credit card with the front desk receptionist at the CDAI Studios. All debit/credit card payments will have a 3.5% transaction fee assessed at check out. All payments must be made by a parent/guardian, we will not accept tuition payments from students!

Tuition can be paid in full on the first day of classes, or in installments on the following due dates listed below:

Winter Session: $1,200 in total

1st Installment ($400) Due Date: September 12th, 2023

2nd Installment ($400) Due Date: October 10th, 2023

Final Installment ($400) Due Date: November 7th, 2023

Spring Session: $1,200 in total

*Includes automatic casting into our Spring Musical!*

1st Installment ($400) Due Date: January 9th, 2024

2nd Installment ($400) Due Date: February 13th, 2024

3rd Installment ($400) Due Date: March 12th, 2024
