Our approach

The Capital District Arts Initiative is a locally driven movement determined to empower the arts community and advocate for a more impactful presence in the lifeblood of the Capital Region. From youth education to community development projects and furthermore, the expansion upon the professional, creative community, we aim to bring all kinds of artists together and encourage multi-disciplinary collaboration. As we further enmesh ourselves in the community, we are continually inspired to support other artists, collaborate, educate, and activate.

Much more than just entertainment

Arts education provides the next generation of artists an opportunity to explore their creativity in a safe space already with the mindset of collaboration at the forefront of their pursuits. The community can benefit so much more than just from the entertainment that comes along with artistic expression. The Capital Region has native artists spread throughout the globe and we hope to be a part of the further development of the local professional community.

A studio for everyone

No matter your level of skill, commitment, age, circumstance, or aspirations, The CDAI is always looking for ways to facilitate any pathway towards your creative ambitions.
